_projectsResearch in action
This project develops software solutions to improve logistics, traceability, food preservation, and sustainability across the food supply chain, focusing on fruit, vegetables, chilled, and fresh packaged products. Funded by Portugal 2030 and recognized with the ITEA seal.
SIMSEA created a fish resource simulator for the Azorean Sea, supporting the identification of fishing zones and the analysis of regional fishing activity. The prototype was presented in the Azores.
Leveraging state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and advanced computing resources, this initiative establishes a foundational neural language model for Portuguese, strengthening its presence and competitiveness in the digital age.
